The Road Less Traveled…

Hello,

Welcome to Unveiled by Poetry, my writing corner on the internet. I’m a 24 year old artist, book lover, and English Major. Art has been a kind companion in important moments of my life, encompassing all the espectrum between joy and sorrow. I consider myself a wanderer, searching for art in the small details, in a song, a poem, a smile, a tree, a hug. I consider the world to be a beautiful place full of wonder, of mystery, of knowledge. I believe that if we open our senses to the soft murmur of nature we can be more in tune with ourselves and the blessings of the Earth.

For years I let my thoughts and creations lie dormant, out of fear, self-doubt, shyness. With this blog, I’d like to share how a wanderer writes her world into existence. This is a place for dreamers and for dreams.

“unframed by poetry, a canvas of awe, Planet Earth falling back into the stars” –  Nightwish

I would like to use this blog as a complement to my youtube channel. I will share some of my work (poems, stories, etc), as well as other things that fit the blog format better (in depth analysis of books, bookish thoughts, etc). I will also post my videos here whenever they are uploaded on the original platform. I will not follow a particular schedule, as I’ve found that spontaneous creation finds its place in my mind better than recurrent, planned writings. Still, expect to hear from me a couple of times in a month.

I sincerely hope you enjoy going on this journey with me.

Much love,

Dany Szelsky.
